ALL THE THINGS THAT PEOPLE DO IN WINTER, THEY ALL MELT DOWN IN SUMMER

The Reykjavík Art Museum currently hosts a great exhibition named STEiNUNN. Acclaimed fashion designer Steinunn Sigurðardóttir presents recent works of her label STEiNUNN, beautifully photographed by one of my favourites, Mary Ellen Mark.

There are not much words worth to waste on both of these artists and their works. STEiNUNN quickly catched my attention passing its boutique on Laugavegur. I once took a photo of the shopping window, click here. Mary Ellen Mark photographed Steinunn's delicate dresses on 20 x 24 inch polaroid, color and black and white.

It reminded me so much of the l'âge d'or of fashion photography of the 30's and 40's.
